Day One At Cardigan

At cardigan we did lots of things that resembled the five themes of geography but I think on day one, (movement one of the themes of geography) was most important because we did a lot of walking and bringing our stuff up to the AMC lodge and we also did a lot of games. When we got to cardigan everyone was really excited to get a move on with hiking but the guidance counselors made us go to a field so we all did. When we got to the field the guidance counselors taught us some rules and some games that we would do at cardigan. After that the guidance counselors made us go grab our hiking stuff and our bags from the trailer and bring them up to our rooms that we would be staying in for 3 days. It was kinda hard to get to the top of the stairs when everyone was trying to get up also with massive bags. After we settled in to our rooms and we arranged our stuff we came down to get ready for hiking. When everyone got into their assigned hiking groups for the trip we went to do some activities with the group to get to know each other. Then after we had a little fun with the group we went for a hike but that could have been different for other people in different groups. When we got back from our hike we went inside to have some dinner which was really good. After dinner we went up to our rooms for a little free time before the big night time activity that we would do, after we had our night time activity we went up to our rooms so we could get some sleep for the next day one hiking. These are examples of how our cardigan trip on day one was themed movement.
